This project for Kingston Community Health Centres includes cleaning up the walking trail – picking up sticks and garbage, bagging the yard waste and garbage, as well as adding wood chips to the long trail and to the base of the trees.

Clear all sticks, branches and garbage from the walking trail
Bag all yard waste and garbage for hauling away
Add woodchips to the long trail
Add woodchips to the base of 10 small trees

May have some heavy lifting

We are situated on traditional Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat land. There are Métis and other non-status First People from many Indigenous Nations present in our community today. This acknowledgement symbolizes the United Way KFL&A’s first step, of many, along this path toward Indigenous reconciliation, in a respectful manner.
