Home Base – In From the Cold Emergency Shelter

This project for Home Base Housing – In From The Cold will include cleaning up two courtyards and front gardens, bagging any yard waste and/or garbage. It will require staining a fence and picnic table, fixing the picnic table if possible. Cleaning all exterior windows and window sills around the building. Soil will need to be added or turned in the gardens (front and side courtyard), added where necessary and new flowers planted. Add woodchips to garden beds and side courtyard. Then paint shelter vestibule (inside).

• Fix picnic table and stain (if possible)
• Stain both sides of fence
• Clean all exterior windows and window sills
• Clean up garbage and yard waste out of gardens, courtyard and front entrance, bag it for hauling away
• Clean out, rake all gardens
• Add soil where needed and plant flowers in flower beds and in courtyard
• Spread woodchips in gardens and courtyards
• Paint shelter vestibule (inside)
